You must have been previously selected by the IPCSA Executive Board to attend this Event.

This academy is a twelve-month journey of self-discovery and organizational change for probation, detention
and pretrial professionals. It provides current employees with the opportunity to develop knowledge and
competencies required of effective leaders.

FEES: Tuition for the Leadership Academy series is $1,500.00 per participant which covers 30 hours of classroom/virtual instruction, class materials, books, assessments, faculty, speakers, classroom facility and lunch for the on-site instruction days. The agency or participant will be responsible for all other expenses including but not limited to meals, lodging, transportation and registration, for co-occurring conferences. Generally, four nights lodging are required for each on-site session and training (arrival on Monday evening, departure on Friday). The Association is offering a registration discount of $100 off of the normal IPCSA Conference registration rates for Academy students. Please note:

• May 21, 2024:  Leadership Academy Virtual Cohort Meeting #1 (11:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m.)
• June 18, 2024:  Leadership Academy Virtual Cohort Meeting #2 (11:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m.)
• August 20, 2023:  Leadership Academy Virtual Cohort Meeting #3 (11:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m.)
• October 1:  Academy Classroom Instruction #2 (8:00 a.m. -4:30 p.m.)
• October 2-4, 2024:  Co-occurring conference-Will County
• December 17, 2024:  Leadership Academy Virtual Cohort Meeting #4 (11:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m.)
• January 21, 2025:  Leadership Academy Virtual Cohort Meeting #5 (11:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m.)
• March 18, 2025:  Leadership Academy Virtual Cohort Meeting #6 (11:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m.)
• April 22, 2025 (tentative):  Academy classroom instruction #3 (8:00 a.m. -4:30 p.m.)
• April 23-25, 2025 (tentative):  Co-occurring conference-Adams County (tentative)

All Academy attendees must register for the Academy and co-occurring conference no later than March 31, 2024!
