Basic Home Contact Safety Training

When:                 March 24-25, 2022        8:30am – 4:30pm, both days

Where:               Winnebago County Probation

Who:                   Winnebago County Probation Staff

Cost:                    $35.00(member)/$45.00(non-member) per participant.  There will be no refunds issued after 3/1/22

Class Size:         Limited to 40 participants

Over two days, this course will cover topics including: Home Contact Safety Principles, Dress, Dwelling Types, Initial Home Contacts, Approach to Residences, Rural/Urban Settings, Purpose, Stairs, and Verbal Interactions.  The course will include classroom, practical exercises, and scenario-based situations.  Note: This course will not cover use of force, weapons, defensive tactics, or searches.
