Awards Nominations Now Open

Event Description

Each year the Awards Committee is given the task to obtain nominations throughout the State of Illinois for individuals who should be recognized for their dedication and commitment to their field of probation, detention, or court services. The awards are presented annually at the Fall Conference.  Many Probation Officers or individuals who work within the Court System do not ask or require to be recognized for the work he or she does. It is a phenomenal feeling to hear your peer’s name or your name called to receive an award. Listening to speeches over the years, most recipients of the awards can name someone else who he or she feels is just as deserving.

If you know of someone who should receive one of the awards please nominate them using the links below.  Nominations can be submitted by co-workers, supervisors, or members of IPCSA with approval from your CMO or Chief Judge. After the nominations are submitted, the Awards Committee meets to discuss each of the nominees for the major awards. The Awards Committee reads the qualifications for each applicant and diligently picks a winner for the major rewards. The Distinguished Service Awards are granted to their recipient as long as he or she is an IPCSA member within two years on the job and has not received the award in the past five years. For the winner of each award, an Awards Committee Member will notify the nominator to ensure the recipient is present during the Awards Banquet on October 3rd, 2024.

Deadline to submit nominations is September 5, 2024 at noon!
