The Substance Abuse Committee provides a forum for exchange of information and resolution of identified substance abuse issues. The goals of the Substance Abuse Committee include; keeping abreast of legislation regarding substance abuse issues in the State, recruiting membership that represents all judicial circuits, promoting a working knowledge of all laws, AOIC standards and guidelines, DASA Standards, and existing substance abuse programs throughout the state, and identifying training needs in order to promote the education of the probation and court services community about substance abuse issues and resources that are available by sponsoring IPCSA workshops.
