Interstate/Intrastate Committee

The Interstate/Intrastate Committee is a group of dedicated professionals from all over the State of Illinois. The committee is designed to provide a forum for discussing issues and reviewing changes relative to Interstate and Intrastate transfer of adult cases in Illinois. The committee will also provide a mechanism for proposing necessary policy changes to the Adult Intrastate Standards to ensure the best practices are available and being followed in all Illinois jurisdictions with regard to the transfer and supervision of adult offenders. The committee will assist the IPCSA Executive Board by developing and proposing training relating to Interstate and Intrastate transfer issues for IPCSA conferences. The committee will also play an integral role in proposing any legislative changes that may be necessary relating to Interstate and Intrastate issues. Lastly, the committee will provide a venue for receiving AOIC updates relating to Interstate and Intrastate issues and provide a conduit for communication from members in the committee, from county to county, and from the Association to AOIC.
