CMO Committee
The purpose of the Management Committee is twofold. The first is to provide CMOs with the opportunity to have legitimate input into decisions made by the Association, its Executive Board, the Probation Division of the Administrative Office of the Illinois Courts, and various other entities, the decision of which have major implications for the administration and management of probation departments in Illinois.
The second is for a system whereby CMOs can exchange information and/or skills with each other pertaining to administrative or management concepts, thereby enhancing the ability of CMOs to administer and manage their departments. Individuals eligible for membership include all individuals designated as department directors/chief probation officers; any management position to which sworn supervisors report; or any management position that is responsible for two or more levels of staff.
